The Lincoln Young Professionals Group (YPG) and American Marketing Association - Lincoln Chapter (AMA) released the four designs as finalists in ReFlag Lincoln, the contest to redesign the City of Lincoln’s flag.

June is a month for celebration and reflection. Check out our social media channels this week as we share history, the progress made, and future work to be done for LGBTQ+ Pride, Juneteenth, and Immigration Heritage Month. While conversations are plentiful on these topics during June we believe every day, 365 days a year, conversations need to happen.

It’s no secret that Lincoln’s city flag could use a refresh! Lincoln YPG is excited to be partnering with American Marketing Association Lincoln Chapter on a city-wide contest to pick a new design. The contest opens in July and will adhere to these five principles of good flag design: Keep It Simple. Use Meaningful Symbolism. Use 2 or 3 Basic Colors. No Lettering or Seals. Be Distinctive or Be Related. We can’t wait to see what you come up with! #ReFlagLNK #LNK
