YP Champions

YP Champions is a rad group of highly-engaged young professionals in the Lincoln community. We’re your neighbors, co-workers and friends. We’re also leaders looking for expanded opportunities to connect with Lincoln YPG and develop ourselves personally and professionally. YP Champions are Lincoln’s supporters and champions. We serve as the front porch for Lincoln YPG’s 2,000+ members by greeting at events, leading table for 10 lunches and engaging members in our organization. Being a YP Champions member also has its benefits. This group is offered additional opportunities to network with prominent city and business leaders. You also get cool perks like nametags and invites to exclusive events. Leadership development is a big deal to us and enhanced opportunities to grow this vital skill is offered only to this group.

Champion Criteria
To be considered for selection as a Champion, candidates must meet the following criteria: 

• Be a current, dues paying member of the Young Professional Group for at least six months. 

• Have participated in at least three LYPG events - we love seeing you involved! 

• Live and/or work in the vibrant city of Lincoln, Nebraska 

Expectations: 

• As a champion, it is expected that you assist at a minimum of three LYPG events throughout the year. 

• Be the group's advocate by representing the group in a positive light, and sharing the opportunity of membership to your peers through event invites, social media shares, and more. 

• Celebrate wins of yourself and others during events and through sharing your story within the group!
