Lincoln, Neb. – 12/10/21 – The Lincoln Young Professionals Group (YPG) announced the results of their 2022 executive leadership election and the addition of two members to the leadership council. Bryce Morgan, Nebraska Bank of Commerce, was elected to serve as YPG's 2021 chair. Morgan, who previously served as vice chair, succeeds Brie Frickenstein, Nebraska Extension. Mairead Safranek, City of Lincoln, will serve as vice chair, with Alyssa Christensen, Mourning Hope, in the role of secretary.
"Lincoln has so much to offer young professionals, and as chair, I hope to further our mission of creating an energetic and dynamic environment for those who chose to live and work in our community," said Morgan.
David Gutierrez of Nelnet and Kalyssa Duncan of Keller Williams Realty will join the council for a two-year term, with the option to serve an additional two years. Both Gutierrez and Duncan have been active members of the organization for several years, holding leadership roles through the YPG Champions program.
"We're thrilled to welcome David and Kalyssa to the team," said Kayla Meyer, YPG Coordinator. "Their contributions to the organization have already made an impact, and we look forward to working with them on council."
