YPG Event Submission Policy

Lincoln’s Young Professionals Group strives to provide a wide range of networking, professional development, and social opportunities geared toward professionals ages 21-40ish. To better serve our members and provide a wider range of events, we are now accepting submissions for events that we will feature to our membership base.

Events submitted to YPG should strive to provide unique opportunities and experiences.  Please include as much information about your event as possible.  We encourage the submission of supplemental material as well – photos, video, website addresses, Facebook event  page links, etc.  Each event should be submitted 45 days prior to commencement for consideration and must be submitted by a member of YPG.  If your organization does not employ a member of YPG, membership applications are available at www.lincolnypg.com.

Events are reviewed, edited, and added to the calendar at the discretion of the YPG Chair and administrative staff.  YPG reserves the right to revise, reject or cancel, in whole or in part, any event for any reason.

We are seeking (but certainly aren’t limited to) events in the following categories:

  • Culinary
  • Dance
  • Fairs, festivals & flea markets
  • Film
  • Lectures & literature
  • Museums
  • Music
  • Outdoors
  • Social service events
  • Special events
  • Sports
  • Theater
  • Tours
  • Visual arts
  • Classes & workshops that are also classified as one of the categories listed above
  • Other entertainment and leisure time events

Event Partnership Application Form.
